Missions Overview | Hope Treatment Center
Local Missions
Grace Chapel is honored to have been a founding church in Oshkosh for Labor of Love, a pregnancy care center begun for women in crisis pregnancies in 1996. Through our leadership, financing and “sweat equity” we were able to establish this life-affirming home for young women in order to help them get a new start in life and support in raising their babies. We have been joined by many churches in the area who now contribute people, finances and time to this community-wide effort in helping women to make constructive, life-giving choices.
Our Servant Evangelism teams go into neighborhoods and other public places offering help in practical ways such as free car washes, free soda pop distribution, hot chocolate during the Christmas shopping season and door-to-door distribution in our neighborhood of fun stuff like cookies and other things.

Titan Christian Fellowship is an inter-denominational college ministry dedicated to making disciples of Jesus Christ, advancing the Biblical worldview, and equipping leadership for the Kingdom at the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh.
Foreign Missions
Grace Chapel supports long-term missionaries in China, India, Thailand, and Romania. In addition, in the last two years we have sent short-term missionaries to China, India and Honduras. One of our members has been teaching in China for the past few years while sharing the gospel with his students and other nationals God puts in his path. The Lord also led one of our couples to study Chinese while doing music ministry in that country.
In India, God is blessing our sister church and its pastors with whom our church has had a relationship for several years. Recently, we sent a team of six people there to encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ, to help train Indian leaders in the church, and to research the foundation for an AIDS clinic, Hope Treatment Center, to be started in connection with local churches and medical personnel. In the next few months and years, Grace Chapel will be working diligently to raise support for this much-needed clinic and to show the love of God in a real way to the people of India. We also celebrate with a couple in Thailand as the Lord blesses their work in sharing the gospel with people living in remote mountain villages in a country where Christian churches often must meet "underground." The Lord willing, we will also send a young couple out to Thailand for a short-term music ministry.
Grace Chapel also supports the work of two separate ministries in Romania. One couple works with teenagers in a large urban area, many of whom are underfed or neglected in other ways. They try to meet these teens' physical needs as well as to guide them spiritually, specifically through music ministry and street evangelism. The other ministry is an urban outreach, specifically among widows and women abandoned by their husbands, a tragically large population in Romania.
In 2003, several of our members spent a week in a small, mountain village in Honduras, working with the local church and two other U.S. churches to construct a multipurpose building to be used for Bible studies, discipleship, and children's church. We will be returning in the summer of 2006 to continue the relationship the Lord has established to carry out Bible studies, evangelism, vacation Bible school, and other ministries as the Lord leads. As a church, we pray that the Lord continues to use Grace Chapel to support brothers and sisters in Christ with the hearts to obey Christ's command to reach all people, both here and abroad, with the gospel."
