Grace Chapel offers a variety of men's and women's group studies linking our day-to-day experiences in life to the guidance offered in God's word. Groups range from individual men's and women's studies in homes and at church, to "cell group" meetings in homes, to special studies for young adults as well as Grace Chapel Youth Group. Whether you're new to groups or are an old pro, our small groups will welcome you every time you're free to participate.

Where did this idea come from anyway?

Throughout the New Testament, the idea of genuine community was accomplished by being involved in Small Groups. Jesus began His earthly ministry by establishing His first Small Group with the 12 disciples. His purpose was to transform them into His image and to subsequently send them out to share the Gospel with others. In Acts 2, the first century church met in temple courts (Sunday morning worship) and in house to house (Small Group) settings.

In today's culture, the need for community is unchanged. We're hungry for a place to grow and just "be". The Bible mentions the importance of "one another's" over 50 times and admonishes us to be closely involved with a few others (Small Group context) in order that we might learn and imitate the type of attitudes and behavior that should characterize the community of believers in Jesus Christ.
